The brief

VolkerFitzpatrick required a comprehensive NRSWA Streetworks training programme for their utilities teams ahead of mobilising on a major highways framework contract. The programme needed to be delivered across multiple locations within a tight timeframe to meet contract start dates.

Our approach

CMT Training Services worked closely with VolkerFitzpatrick’s operations and HR teams to design a rolling training schedule that accommodated shift patterns and minimised disruption to live works. Training was delivered across three regional hubs, with dedicated assessors assigned to each location to ensure consistency of delivery and assessment standards throughout the programme.

The result

All operatives achieved their required NRSWA units within the agreed timeframe, enabling VolkerFitzpatrick to mobilise on the highways framework contract on schedule. The programme has since been extended to cover additional operatives joining the framework, with CMT Training Services retained as the preferred training provider.
