CMT74 Piling Rig Attendant

Overview

This course is for people who have had at least 300 hours experience working alongside a fully competent piling rig operator under close supervision to be familiarised with the operating procedures and duties of a piling rig attendant.
Course Content
At the end of the course, delegates will have an understanding of:
•Pre-operational checks
•Use of the operator’s handbook and other information sources
•Piling rig equipment overview
•Communication and signalling techniques
•Safety procedures and risk management
•Emergency procedures
•Health and safety
•Post-operational procedures
Delegates who achieve the CMT theory and practical tests will receive their CMT trained operator card, which will be valid for three years.
Training delivered through a combination of classroom-based tutorials and practical instruction. Delegates will cover manufacturer knowledge and awareness of plant operations, and general knowledge of safety procedures, and best practices.

The CMT theory and practical tests will be undertaken under test conditions.
Upon expiry of your CMT trained operator card, you can refresh your skills by attending a refresher course.
