Overview

This course is for people with limited or no experience of being a vehicle marshaller. It teaches delegates how to prepare for vehicle movement and guidance, communication, plant hazards and ground conditions, work area layout and positioning.
Course Content
At the end of the course, delegates will have an understanding of:
•Roles and responsibilities
•Regulatory requirements
•Plant types, limitations, hazards and stability factors
•Work management traffic plan
•Proximity hazards
•Safe positioning
•Communication methods
•Preparing for movement
•Guidance of plant and vehicle movement
Delegates who achieve the CMT theory and practical tests will receive their CMT trained operator card, which will be valid for three years.
Training delivered through a combination of classroom-based tutorials and practical instruction. Delegates will cover manufacturer knowledge and awareness of plant operations, and general knowledge of safety procedures, and best practices.

The CMT theory and practical tests will be undertaken under test conditions.
Upon expiry of your CMT trained operator card, you can refresh your skills by attending the course again.
