Overview

This course is designed to equip individuals with the knowledge and skills necessary to undertake a working at height risk assessment to effectively control and manage risks and use access equipment safely. The primary aim is to provide a comprehensive understanding of reducing risk of falls from height.
Course Content
At the end of this course, delegates with have an understanding of:
•Introduction to working at height
•Health and safety and working at height regulations
•Hazard identification and risk assessment
•Fall protection measures
•Safe use of equipment
•Work planning
•Emergency procedures
Delegates who achieve their assessment will receive their CMT certification, which will be valid for three years.
Training delivered through a combination of classroom-based tutorials and practical instruction.

The assessment will consist of a theory assessment and a practical demonstration and will be undertaken under test conditions.
Delegates must bring a passport photograph on the day of training so we can issue ID Cards.

To remain certified in this area, you will need to retake the course before the expiry date.

Course Prerequisites

Delegates must have a good understanding of spoken and written English.

The training has practical elements, so delegates must inform their trainer if they have any serious health issues, physical problems, special considerations or are taking any medication, which may create difficulties in any elements of this course. In addition, delegates should also bring suitable PPE on the day of training, for example; safety helmets, safety shoes or boots, hi-vis and gloves.
