Overview

This course is designed to equip individuals with the knowledge and skills necessary to perform thorough inspections of scaffolding systems. Delegates will examine legal requirements, ensure compliance with safety regulations and inspections, and gain an understanding of procedures, appropriate documentation, and classifications.
Course Content
At the end of this course, delegates with have an understanding of:
•Introduction to scaffolding
•Regulatory framework and industry standards
•Inspection procedures
•Scaffold systems
•Structural Integrity Assessment
•Safety features and procedures
•Documentation and reporting
Delegates who achieve their assessment will receive their CMT certification, which will be valid for three years.
Training delivered through a combination of classroom-based tutorials and practical instruction.

The assessment will be undertaken under test conditions.
Delegates must bring a passport photograph on the day of training so we can issue ID Cards.

To remain certified in this area, you will need to retake the course before the expiry date.

Who should attend?

The Scaffold Safety Inspection course is intended for engineers, operatives, supervisors, and anyone who encounters steel tube and fitting scaffolds or mobile aluminium access towers in their work.

Course Prerequisites

Delegates must have a good understanding of spoken and written English.

The training has practical elements, so delegates must inform their trainer if they have any serious health issues, physical problems, special considerations or are taking any medication, which may create difficulties in any elements of this course. In addition, delegates should also bring suitable PPE on the day of training, for example; safety helmets, safety shoes or boots, hi-vis and gloves.
