CISRS Advanced Practical Assessment (Tube and Fitting)

Overview

The CISRS Advanced Practical Assessment is a mandatory requirement of the CISRS scheme, and is for Scaffolders who have completed both the CISRS Advanced Scaffolding course, and the Level Three NVQ in Scaffolding. It is intended to assess and verify the learner's knowledge of the scaffolding skills learned on the Part One, Part Two, and Advanced courses.
Course Content
The advanced practical skills assessment will assess your ability to:
•Interpret instructions and information
•Produce materials lists and method statements
•Select and check components
•Erect and dismantle a scaffold
•Use risk assessments and method statements.
Delegates who achieve this assessment, will receive the CISRS Advanced Scaffolder Gold card.
The assessment will be based on your portfolio of evidence of your scaffolding career to date.
Delegates who have achieved their CISRS Advanced Scaffolder course will have 18-months before they need to book onto their CISRS Skills Test (Tube and Fitting) course. Working towards Gold Card.

Two days

Course Prerequisites

Prior to attending this advanced skills test, delegates must have successfully completed a CISRS Advanced Course at least 6 months previously. They must also hold a Level Three S/NVQ certificate in Scaffolding.

Delegates must have a good understanding of spoken and written English.

Delegates must have passed a CITB Health, Safety and Environment (HS&E) test no more than two years before attending this course or hold a CISRS recognised exemption. If you require more information on how to book this test, please contact us.
