Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) training equips individuals with the knowledge and practical skills to recognise the early signs of mental health challenges, respond appropriately, and provide initial support until professional help is available.
The training covers diagnosable mental health conditions, including stress, depression, anxiety disorders, bi-polar, self-harming, eating disorders, psychosis and suicide, what unwell looks like and how to spot the signs and symptoms in yourself and others.
MHFA also promotes understanding of mental health in the workplace and wider community, helping to break down stigma and build a culture of openness and support.
