Overview

This course is for people with limited or no experience of loading and securing. It teaches delegates how to demonstrate knowledge, load and unload mobile plant under STGO legislations safely onsite.
Course Content
At the end of the course, delegates will have an understanding of:
•Pre-operational checks
•Use of the operator’s handbook and other information sources
•Driving techniques and site awareness
•Operational procedures in various conditions
•Loading and Securing
•Health and safety
•Site conditions and risk management
•Post-operational procedures
Delegates who achieve the CMT theory and practical tests will receive their CMT trained operator card, which will be valid for three years.
Training delivered through a combination of classroom-based tutorials and practical instruction. Delegates will cover manufacturer knowledge and awareness of plant operations, and general knowledge of safety procedures, and best practices.

The CMT theory and practical tests will be undertaken under test conditions.
Upon expiry of your CMT trained operator card, you can refresh your skills by attending a refresher course.
