Overview

This course covers the skills required to plan, manage, and oversee the use of mast climbing work platforms and/or construction hoists onsite.
Course Content
At the end of the course, delegates will have an understanding of:
•Current legislation, standards and guidance
•Different MCWP and CH classifications
•Planning for appropriate training
•Selecting an appropriate supplier
•Planning for installation, maintenance, inspection, examination and dismantling of MCWPs and CHs
•The safe use and operation of MCWPs and CHs
•Identifying misuse and abuse of MCWPs and CHs
Upon successfully completing the course, delegates will be awarded with a IPAF Mast Climbing Work Platforms and Construction Hoists for Managers Certificate, which will be valid for five years.
Training delivered through a combination of classroom-based tutorials and a practical exercise.

The assessment will consist of an open-book multiple choice theory assessment.
To remain certified in this area, you will need to retake the course before the expiry date.
