Overview

This course that is designed to provide learners a better understanding about building a mentally healthy workplace, supporting positive well-being, challenging stigmas and providing mental health first aid for some of the most common mental health issues. Although suitable for all learners, this course is particularly relevant for line managers and supervisors.
Course Content
At the end of the course, delegates will have an understanding of:
• About mental health and stress in the workplace
• Stigma and discrimination
• Recognising and understanding common mental health issues
• Applying the mental health first aid action plan
• Recovery
• Building a mentally healthy workplace
• Action planning for using mental health first aid.
Upon successfully completing the course, delegates will be awarded with a MHFA England certificate of attendance, which will be valid for three years.
Delegates are continuously evaluated during the course through a variety of interactive question and answer sessions, quizzes, and engaging activities. These activities are designed to guide and assist delegates in gaining the necessary skills and ensure they can apply their knowledge safely within their workplace.
On completing this course you will receive:
• A comprehensive digital manual for future reference
• The workbook used throughout the course.

To remain certified in this area, you will need to complete the refresher course before the expiry date.
